This is a bracelet with a large turquoise stone. I am not sure whether to polish the silver or not. Will silver polish hurt the turquoise? Is it better just to let the bracelet tarnish?

Answer by diamondkitt Look in your local Walmart jewelry section for silver polish, and no it won’t hurt the stone at all. Just follow instructions on the container, and make sure to use a soft cloth!

I had a sterling silver bracelet with cz diamonds in it and I left it in jewelry cleaner for about a week on accident. Well today I had my bf take it out when I remembered about it and he said it had turned blackish..I would be so crushed if it was ruined it met more than anything in the world to me!!!! and you have no clue…it’s like part of my heart!!!

Answer by Cribber Rinse it really really well. Then try a soft toothbrush and toothpaste, the paste kind, not gel. If that doesn’t fix it, then it is done for. If it was sterling plated and not pure sterling, there isn’t much that can be done. If it was pure sterling it will come clean again.

I have a dainty white gold ring with small diamonds in it and I was wondering if I could wear it while wearing silver bracelets, earrings, and necklace?
