My boyfriend’s birthday is in January. Yes, it’s pretty far away but he’s IMPOSSIBLE to shop for since he can basically buy himself whatever he wants. This year (for his 29th) I thought it might be better to get him something more personalized.
He loved the board game Settlers of Catan. So I’m having an Etsy artist have something custom done for him with that theme, but I have NO idea what that is exactly. My original idea was cufflinks of a gamepiece from the actual game. Either of the wood or made of silver. But he told me the other in conversation that he doesnt have any shirts that use cufflinks. Damn!
So my next thought is maybe a keychain? USB or something made out of silver? I think both of those are too small a present, and he wouldn’t really use it.
What’s a gadget or gift (either silver or otherwise) that I could have made for him? Again, he doesnt use cufflinks, money clips or much jewelry (he has this one necklace, but I would feel weird getting him jewelry quite honestly.)

I did say how old he was. He’s turning 29.
And he’s a big gamer (into board games and d&d and stuff.) He also really likes to read and learn.
