Question by bevfinn: How to clean silver jewelry?

I have some nice silver necklaces which have tarnished. I’ve tried jewelry polish, kitchen silver polish, toothpaste, but can’t remove the tarnish. Any suggestions?

idk if this will work for you but it did for me.. rub it against your bed spread really fast so the heat builds up and they should be shinier..it worked for my ring i did it yesterday

The Silver Jungle Necklace

Custom order for my mother-in-law. This fun necklace is decorated with a large rectangular leaf embossed silver pendant with similar round and square beads, hand strung on a silver oval linked chain, and finished with a large silver leaf toggle clasp. She really liked this and the earrings I made for her as well.

There is a costume jewelry necklace I want, but it is gold and I need it in silver. Is there a way to change the color to silver? Maybe spray paint or a paint for jewelry? Thanks.

Hi,
you could get it rhodium plated, but that would be fairly expensive. You would need to ask your local jeweler whether he/she would be willing to do that.
